Using Zivento means agreeing to these terms

These terms govern your use of the Zivento platform. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Zivento ("the platform"), operated by Zivento ("we", "us", "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Zivento. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. Organizer access requires a verified account in good standing.

3. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account
  • Not create multiple accounts for the same person

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Scrape or collect data without permission
  • Use automated tools to interact with the platform without authorization

5. Event Registration

When registering for events as an attendee:

  • You should make a reasonable effort to attend events you register for
  • You should cancel registrations at least 24 hours in advance when possible
  • Repeated no-shows may result in temporary registration restrictions
  • You must present your QR code or valid identification for check-in
  • Event organizers may set additional requirements for their events

6. Organizer Responsibilities

If you use Zivento as an event organizer, you additionally agree to:

  • Provide accurate event information (date, venue, capacity, description)
  • Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations for your events
  • Handle attendee data responsibly and in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • Not use attendee data for purposes beyond the scope of your event without consent
  • Respond to attendee inquiries in a timely manner
  • Not create fraudulent or misleading events

7. Pricing & Payments

Zivento currently offers a free plan that includes core features. We may introduce premium plans with additional features in the future. If we do:

  • Pricing will be clearly communicated before you are charged
  • Free plan features at the time of your registration will remain available to you
  • Paid plans may be billed monthly or annually
  • You may cancel a paid plan at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Zivento, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Content you upload (event descriptions, images, etc.) remains yours. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the platform and in marketing materials.

9. Third-Party Links

Zivento may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites. Accessing them is at your own risk.

10. Service Availability

We strive to keep Zivento available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the platform for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the platform will be revoked
  • Personal data will be handled per our Privacy Policy
  • Certificates issued to you remain accessible for verification

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Zivento is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, secure, or always available.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zivento and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

14. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Zivento shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction where Zivento operates.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
